Privacy Policy
Version of 19 September 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Lazy K Software ("Lazy K Software", "we", "us") handles information in connection with the Free Tweet Deleter browser extension (the "Extension") and the website at tweetgone.com (the "Site"). It forms part of the Terms. It does not apply to X Corp., to the Chrome Web Store, or to any other service reached from the Extension or the Site, whose own policies govern their handling of information.
Information Processed On Your Device
- Everything the Extension creates while scanning and deleting, together with your backups and your settings, is held in the storage allocated to it by your browser and is not transmitted to us.
- The Extension reads the cookies by which x.com identifies your existing session, for the sole purpose of authenticating requests made to X from your browser. Their values are not transmitted to us or to any other party.
- Information described in this section is deleted when the Extension is removed from your browser. A backup that has not been exported is deleted with it.
Information Transmitted To Us
- Usage statistics. On the commencement and completion of a deletion run, the Extension transmits generic identifiers and basic information about the account and the run.
- Error reports. Where an operation fails, the Extension transmits generic identifiers, basic technical information about the browser and the failure, and a description of the error from which identifying details have been removed.
- Availability checks. Periodically while the Extension is in use, it transmits generic identifiers and the version of the Extension, and requests the support status of that version.
- Feedback. Where you submit the feedback form on the Site, we receive what you write and any contact details you elect to provide.
- Technical records. The internet protocol address of a request is recorded briefly in order to enforce rate limits.
Information We Do Not Receive
- We do not receive the content of your posts, your backups, your cookies, your session tokens, or any credential.
- We do not use advertising identifiers or third party analytics, and we set no cookie for advertising or analytics purposes.
- The installation identifier is randomly generated. It is not derived from your X account or from you, and it is not linked by us to either.
Purposes
- Usage statistics, error reports and availability checks are processed in order to operate the counter published on the Site, to detect faults, to identify versions that no longer operate correctly against X, and to maintain the Extension.
- Feedback is processed in order to reply where contact details have been provided, and to improve the Extension.
Disclosure And Processors
- We do not sell, rent or trade information described in this Policy, and we do not disclose it for advertising purposes.
- Information is processed on our behalf by Cloudflare, Inc., which provides our hosting and storage.
- The feedback form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to verify that a submission is not automated.
- Donations are handled by Stripe, Inc. on pages operated by Stripe, and are subject to Stripe's own terms and privacy policy.
- We may disclose information where disclosure is required by law.
Retention
- Run records, session records, installation records, error reports and feedback are retained until deleted by us.
- Records kept only to enforce rate limits expire after a short period.
Security
- Information is encrypted in transit, and access to stored information is restricted and requires authentication.
- No method of transmission or storage is entirely secure, and we do not warrant absolute security.
Your Choices And Requests
- The usage statistics and error reports described above cannot be disabled from within the Extension. Removing the Extension from your browser ends all transmission described in this Policy.
- You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of, information held by us that relates to you. A request should include enough detail for us to identify the information concerned, and may be made through the support page.
Children
- The Extension is not for use by a person under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect information from a child under that age.
Amendment
- We may amend this Policy. The date stated at the head of this document is the date of the current version, and continued use after an amendment takes effect constitutes acceptance.
